Avoiding travel boredom
Although for most people, traveling is a time of enjoyment, chilling, peace and tranquility, for others, however, a few extra days out of their routine is already a reason for discomfort, a boredom that affects many people. What I can generally recommend is, try to connect with more people, really immerse yourself in another culture. In case you really don't want to connect with more people and don't like the culture and people of the place, transform the place of the trip in the place where you would like to carry out your simplest and daily activities. Here are some tips.
Couchsurfing & Couchers
Although often used for hosting, these sites are much more than that. Take advantage of Couchsufing's Hang Out; feature and connect with people all over the world!

Instagram/Facebook/Snapchat/TicTok/Twitter/Koo
Make use of location information and hashtags to find out where people go the most over there and come too!

Tinder & Bumble & Veggly
What for many people are dating and firting apps, for others is a great way to make new friends. Whatever your goals, these apps and others are widely used around the world.

Grab a book and sit somewhere to read, with a cup of coffee or a tea
Romance? Drama? Scientific article? Gossip magazine? Forget you are travelling and live a normal life for a few hours. Not everything on a trip is photography and sights. Have your own time.

Events in the city
Did you hear about any events in town? Attend! Fair of local products, musicals, opportunity to have fun, meet people and local culture. Go without fear.

Trip advisor & Alltrails & Local websites
Think you're in a city that has nothing to do? Try to see what these websites have to offer, you will be surprised with attractions, for sure.

Live like a local - parks and squares, cinema, theater
Do you like theater? Cinema? Walk in the park? So why not do this on your trip? The journey is yours. Its ok to prefer going to a musical or opera rather than queuing for a famous exhibition.

Get old projects off paper
Empty head on the trip? You don't need to be 100% wandering, focus some time on old projects, think about them, write, dedicate yourself and then reap the rewards in more trips.

Take the opportunity to work out
Gym, swimming, calisthenics, sports... Great ways to meet people and keep your body moving. How about learning a new sport?

Make contacts & Networking
Always good to have friendships and business partners around the world. Strive to bond with people. Not everyone is as cold and insensitive as you think. Have you already shown your product or service to someone on the trip?
